No guarantees, however you might take a look at the Heredis 2018 topic in the Coffee Corner list that was discussed in late 2017.

Re: Gedcom Import Problems
Yes, repeatedly without any problems. My file is 12,514 people, 31,485 citations, and 12,314 media. I've never encountered problems with dates, events, or notes moving from Legacy to Heredis. Have you run all the database utilities (File > File Maintenance) for the Legacy file before exporting to a ...

Re: Gedcom Import Problems
Which version of Legacy do you have? If the current build of version 9, select File > Export (icon) > Export File to open the GEDCOM Export dialog. Note the four arrows on the capture (attached). If you wish to customize or need to add in any information marked Private you will need to select the bu...

Re: Heredis Flash Player NPAPI Install
Obviously I cannot answer for the Heredis staff, as I too am only a user. However, as to why Flash is still being used you might find the MS Windows Blog post of July 25, 2017 of interest: https://blogs.windows.com/msedgedev/2017/07/25/flash-on-windows-timeline/ As the blog states, the software indu...

Re: Editing Place Data?
A major part of the problem is dealing with GEDCOM, a format that has remained unchanged for years. Unfortunately, it seems that places is one element that each genealogical software differs just slightly as to how the software records and transfers that information via GEDCOM to other software. As ...

Re: Heredis 2018

Go to the Heredis home page and select FR instead of EN for the display language. There is a listing for a 2018 vers...

Re: Family Tree Magazine Software Reviews (2017)
Thanks, although I do see a couple of software listed as having Mac versions too that actually currently use emulators. Although both software are working on developing Mac versions. I would hope there was some review descriptions associated with this list of seven software. In addition to the link ...

Re: Family Tree Magazine Software Reviews (2017)
Have not seen the FTM magazine's review as it has been a few years since I had a subscription. How does their review differ from the software reviews of TopTenReviews online for genealogy software? At least the TopTenReviews identifies their 'update date' as three plus months ago. And, that explains...

Re: pictures as pdf files
From your comment I suspect you mean you have the free version - Adobe Acrobat Reader. You could use the short process I found with an online search. Or, . . . The other alternative would be use free software to extract the image, such as PDF Mate's PDF Converter. See http://www.pdfmate.com/pdf-conv...
