[FIXED] Upgrade error: an error occurred. Please reinstall

I bought the upgrade to Heredis 2015 today. However, after installing the update and restarting my computer I get he message: An error occurred. Please reinstall.

I removed the 2015 version and reinstalled but I still get the same error. How can I get my upgrade to work?

I updated my laptop to Windows 10 and I have the same issue. Has anybody ever found a resolution to this problem?

Re: Add Root Person

Mike, thank you for your reply.
This helps with extracting a branche to share with others, but I still have the issue that I can't easily switch between families in one file. Any idea how to do that as well?
Thanks anyway for the exporting tip!

Re: Add Root Person

Anybody know how to solve my problem? I want to be able to switch between families within one document. I also want to be able to sync and/or export each family seperately from the main file. I thought maybe this could be done by adding a root person, but if that isn't an option, perhaps there's ano...

[FIXED] Invalid date

I'm trying to enter the birth date 28 February 1905 to a person, but I get the warning "invalid date". It is however the date that is noted as the birth date in my documents. Why am I getting the the warning? How can I enter the date properly? I also tried writing 28021905, 28-02-1905, 1905-02-28, 1...

[FIXED] Add Root Person

I've recently transferred all my data to Heredis. In my last genealogy program I had 3 family trees in one document. For each of the families I defined one root person. This way I could export the GEDCOM just for that specific family if a family member asked for it. Because I'm researching both my m...

Re: New Heredis for Windows

Okay, thanks for the feedback. reinstalling it doesn't help unfortunately. For now I'll just let the user work on the admin account till there's a solution available.

Re: New Heredis for Windows

I have two user profiles on my notebook, administrator and user. When I run HeredisPC as administrator then it starts up in English. But when I run it as user then it starts up in French. So, it seems to be a setting in the user profile. Any  I also have the same problem, I have two users on ...
