Re: Transition from 10.2.6 to Leopard/Lion version

The file you sent me is not an Heredis Mac X2 (10.2.6) file but an Heredis Mac X3 (10.3) file. It is then perfectly compatible to be opened and converted by the new Heredis blue (version 2.0.4) Just launch Heredis blue and go to “Open Tree / Open”, select “Heredis File” and “OK” to look for and find...

Re: Transition from 10.2.6 to Leopard/Lion version

- look for your file with the Finder
- right-clic on the name and choose "compress ..."
- this create an additional file with type "zip"
- this is the one to send

(by the way, based on age you still owe me respect ... 8-) )

Re: Transition from 10.2.6 to Leopard/Lion version

Mike. Thanks for your quick reply. Please tell me how to get my X2 file converted to X3. I don't know anyone else who is using the Heredis program or what BSD is, and I don't know what's involved in the conversion process. I don't want to lose any data I have worked so hard to research, so using th...

Re: Sync problem between iPad and iPhone

I read on the french BSD forum that it is considered to add the possibility to sync on an external device like USB key or disk, my guess is that it would then apply as well to a location in the Cloud ...

Re: Errors in importing Gedcom file

Re: Transition from 10.2.6 to Leopard/Lion version

First : your current Heredis version (X2 - 10.2.6) will not run under Lion. Concernning your X2 file, the best would be to have it converted first to X3 by anyone (including BSD) still running the version under Snow Leopard, then the new blue Heredis will open and convert this X3 converted file with...

Interesting question ...
If sync would be possible, it would mean that, if 10 unrelated people in the room were using Heredis on their iPhone/iPad, yours would see them all ... ?

Re: Heredis Help

Don't blame the dog ; Heredis has nothing to do with the fact that the PDF file type is now associated with iPhoto on your system !
Reassociate it with the right program, probably Adobe Reader ?
