i'm still having the you must install bonjour message, would be nice if i could sync from my iphone to my pc and also my ipad, but that seems a little buggy at the moment. Most importantly, though, is the application of dates. Standard practice in the United States, at least amongst professional genealogists, is to use date/month/year format, as in 5 July 2012. The default here is July 5 2012, lacking the separating comma of typical American-English language formats....

from Snow Leopard and v10.2.3 to Lion and v2.0.4 ... You then went through an export/import of a Gedcom file ? Have you checked with v10.2 if the Preferences for those fields autorize export ?
