Date Format

Post by gorio » Mon Dec 26, 2016 8:24 pm

In the English 2015 Windows version the default format is the American style date "July 21, 1656" how can I use the "21 July 1656" style? Can it be done without changing the date style in Windows and thus the entire computer. In other words, I only want to use the "21 July 1656" date format for Heredis.

Thanks.

From your open database file, do the following:

1. Click Tools > Preferences > Heredis Preferences
2. From the Heredis Preferences dialog, click the Format tab.
3. The first option is Default Date Format. Select Day Month Year option.
4 Click OK
5. Restart Heredis.

(New to Heredis)
I see that Date format in Reports can be dd.mm.yyyy (Norwegian) but on screen there is only Day Month Year, except for one screen where it is dd.mm.yyyy.
No reason to have different date setups for reports and screen.
