Using Heredis on Android

Post by ChrisD » Wed Sep 28, 2016 1:07 pm

I have a large data base of entries on my PC. I am about to attend a family tree class and want to view/work this on an Android tablet (Nexus 10). However when I try to open the file I am told it is not compatible with Android!!!!!!! How do I get round this?

I know this may sound off but don't shoot the messenger but are you sure you clicked on the Heredis for Android link and not the iOS version?

Thanks for responding. I do have the Android version and have now found out, thanks to responders prompting, how to prepare a file for Android with the Z addition to the file name. This I moved to Dropbox and then downloaded onto my tablet - yippee it works.
Regards
