I have a large data base of entries on my PC. I am about to attend a family tree class and want to view/work this on an Android tablet (Nexus 10). However when I try to open the file I am told it is not compatible with Android!!!!!!! How do I get round this?

Are trying to read your Heredis file on your tablet directly or via the free Heredis mobile version that you download to your tablet?
