Access Violation Error

Post by Guest » Thu Jan 10, 2019 7:49 pm

I'm getting an intermittent error message when using Heredis. It happens when I paste some text into the notes section of a personal event, not every time though which makes it a little more annoying.

Access violation at address 085FBF02 in module 'HRichViewActions.bpl'. Read of address 00000060.

No idea what this means and I wondered if anybody else had seen it and knows what the fix is?

Thanks.

Have you tried to reinstall the program Heredis and then start it once while maintaining the CTRL down ??
Sincerely.

That’s up there with “turn it off then turn it back on”.

Expert, eh?

Yes, I’ve reinstalled the software but it’s still an intermittent error. Perhaps text can only be pasted as “plain text”.

Surely you are ot saying that you are not going to fix a known problem because you don’t like his attitude?

By the way I have all the time in the world for Mike who has helped me out on many occasions.

If that’s directed at me then I’ve said that I’ve already tried what was suggested and it didn’t work.

Yes, I find Mike’s attitude dreadful - patronising and at times childish, I seem to recall that he added me to his “foes list”

Expert, maybe. People person, maybe not.
