Research notes

Post by peterc2 » Sat Nov 25, 2017 12:55 pm

How do I add research notes as I build my family history? For example, having added a relative, I find I do not have a marriage date so I want to quickly make a note to follow up then carry on working. I would then like to print a list of follow up tasks. Is this possible?

See menu Person > Edit notes and select Research note.
Unfortunately it is not possible to print the research notes, only the other notes types.

Comments from Heredis management?

Thanks for the reply. I found the notes option. I would very much like to see a notes report.

Do Heredis reply to these posts normally? Just curious.

Not very often, there are many unanswered questions and comments for Heredis management here.

Given up on the software. Bit disappointing that the sales side of the business is working but the support clearly isn't. If they can't be bothered to respond, why should I bother to use their software. Lesson learned, customer lost, reputation damaged. C'est la vie!
