I have had the software for about 3 weeks and I am not impressed or happy with it.

How do I request a refund?

Could you tell us the reasons why you aren't happy with the software?

A download product can't be refunded.

Well, add that to the list. Other companies, even ones who offer genealogy software for download, allow refunds within 30 days.

Your software doesn't add any features that my previous software, Family Tree Maker, doesn't have already.

I was able to import my wife's tree but when I try to import mine, I get an error.

Guess I will try to get a refund through my credit card then.

I am also disappointed with the software and lack of support. I received the same error and when I opened the log, this was the first of a series of error messages at the end. [Ligne 242135] : <fatal error> ContextStack.Top() on empty storage ( 1 NAME Ancestry.com )
Why would it have so much trouble converting an Ancestry.com gedcom file that imported perfectly into Family Tree Maker and Family Tree Builder? On top of that, it seems that Heredis takes the attitude that they have our money so care no longer. That's a shame.

Hi Mike,

There was a typing error inside this GEDCOM file.
Each code is individual and differs with each GEDCOM.
So, if a customer's GEDCOM doesn't work, all he can do is to send us the file and we'll fix it.

I appreciate the quick fix - I was very frustrated when I wrote my first post. I work in Customer Service and am used to having a number to call so was not at all confident I would get a satisfactory outcome but I was absolutely wrong. The Support Team did an excellent job and I am very impressed!
