When I am at the main window, there are two files that are very similar. One is "Family Name" - Heredis, the other is "Family Name" - Heredis Files.
They are two separate files. When I open them, one has two more individuals then the other as well as one has pictures the other one does not have or details for a person are in one, but not the other. Thought perhaps that may have happened during my last upgrade from 17 to 18 and figured I would merge the two files and ask for duplicates not be merged/imported.
However, when I go to do that, it tells me it cannot do it as they are the same file... wait, what? They are obviously not. There is no way I have the time and patience to manually shift through each person to sync these two and then see if I can delete one.
Do you have any suggestions what this is and how it can be solved?

Troubleshooting: have you opened each? Are they the same? Can you see changes from a specific date on each?
