Trojan horse in trial version

Post by sailaway » Thu Aug 14, 2014 7:03 pm

Twice (yesterday and today) I tried to download the trial version of Heredis for Windows, but my virus checker prevented me from installing it because it found a Trojan horse.
Do you know about this?
Will you be updating the download?
Is the paid-for version also affected?

No, I won't be doing that. Such a pity, I was looking forward to using Heredis as it looks great.
Thanks for your help.

Thousands of people downloaded this Heredis install file without such warning ...
I just did it myself to make sure (I am using McAfee) = no problem
Where do you think your problem comes from then ?
Cordialement.

I'm using AVG and as setup starts it determines that the software isn't safe so I can't get any further. The problem seems to be between the software and AVG. I won't disable AVG to install something that it rejects and which I have no certainty about, it doesn't seem very sensible to me. So instead I'll use other software, it's not a problem.

Norton Internet Security also finds it as a problem

Which version do you have? I use Norton Security Suite (version 21.5.0.19) available to Comcast Internet users. I have downloaded Heredis 2014 (along with the previous version of Heredis), yet have never had a response from the Norton software.
