Javascript Error

Post by s.perrot » Fri Oct 03, 2014 11:47 pm

Hello

I am a long term Heredis user and installed the upgrade to Heredis 14 today. While attempting to publish to Heredis Online i have constantly received the error that the javascript needs to be activated.

My javascript is activated in all search engines (Firefox, Chrome and Safari) and functioning as it is used by other sites I visit regularly.

I have attempted to correct the problem by uninstalling everything and reinstalling everything, but I continue to receive the same error.

My firewalls are not blocking either, and so need some further ideas to resolve the issue.

Thank you

Inside Heredis, the internet windows use Internet Explorer (even if you don't usually use it). So, to get rid of this error, you have to reset IE parameters :
- Launch Internet Explorer
- Click on the wheel icon on top right of the window, and select "Internet Options" on menu
- Go to "Advanced Tab" and click on "Reset" button

Hello Audrey

Thank you so much for your message. It was not an issue with the settings. but the fact that not only have I not used internet Explorer for many, many years now...I did not even have it installed.

Installed current version...problem solved.

Are there any future plans to allow the internet windows to use other web browsers?

Thank you again
Sondra

Even if you as "a Internet user" you don't use IE, Heredis software use it!
