[Fixed]Privacy not working correctly with online tree

Post by georgesh4 » Thu Nov 06, 2014 11:59 am

Hello,

I have uploaded my tree with privacy options:
don't show anything for persons born less than 120 years ago.
In the main screen all is fine, but in the left part of the window where the persons list is shown, all persons have the years from-to between brackets and living persons are shown with their names.
How can I fix this? I don't want to show living persons anywhere.
Thank you.

I noted this bug.

In the meanwhile, you can set the contemporary persons (if you don't have too many contemporaries in your genealogy ) as private in Heredis, publish again and change confidentiality parameters :
unchecked in Confidentiality tab unber Other data the option "Show private and confidential elements (persons, events, notes, ...)"

Thank you.

I already unchecked everything you mentioned.
As I have several hundred contemporary persons in my file, I prefer to take the tree offline and wait for this issue to be solved.
This is no problem as I have another site running under TNG where my "public" data are published.
