Current File Now Opens Blank

Post by kyushukev » Mon Jun 05, 2017 4:23 pm

I opened a file in Heredis, used it and closed it. Now it opens as a blank file with no information, even though properties show the data is in there.
I keep being told to rename it. I'm up to heredis..heredis..heredis. and it won't open. As far as I can tell, the file is in the same folder following the same path. My other files open fine. I can't find any information about opening the backup. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Kevin

Hi Mike; Thanks for the quick reply. I'm only seeing the first 3 options. None of my files show the restore from bak option.

Sorry, I missed that you are using an older version than 2017 ...

You would the have to go inside the directory "myfilename.hmw" and :
- change the type of the file "myfilename.heredis" to "myfilename.heredisold"
- and change the type of the file "myfilename.bak" to "myfilename.heredis"

Then go ...

Is it OK now ?
Cordialement.

Hi Mike;
It was a nail biter, but I got it! Thanks for all your help. I should probably break down and get the new version.
Thanks again and take care,
Kevin
