Not possible to register licence: blank screen shown instead of logon

If you have purchased Heredis, when you try to enter your credentials to activate your licence in the application, you might see a black dialog box instead of a login window when click Register.

The solution is to start the application as a test and deactivate the Hardware Acceleration in the Heredis preferences.

This topic in the French Forum explains the detailed steps. Perhaps somebody from Heredis support can post the same information in English.

Hello,
Here are the steps in English to get rid of the black screen at login:
Launch Heredis in Test Mode using the Try button.
Go to "Tools" menu, then "Preferences", then "Heredis preferences".
Go to Advanced tab, then click on "Deactivate hardware acceleration". Close Heredis and launch it again.
The black screen should not appear again.

Interestingly enough, I had this in my laptop but not on my desktop... It might depend on your computer's resolution.
