Merging many places

Post by suhwak » Sat Feb 15, 2020 10:52 pm

Hi,

I have inherited a huge family file and I was wanting to try out Heredis. Now from another topic I understood that it is possible to merge places one-by-one, but not in-bulk (like RootsMagic). Is this true? If so, then Heredis 2020 might not be the software for me after all...

Rootsmagic (which I don't like for other reasons):

The private answer was
As the Heredis files are in SQLite format, it would probably be not too difficult to make a request to meet your need … ?

Thank you very much for the idea! It also helped me with other problems which occurred after importing my ged. :)
