Heredis 2017

can not get onto the 2017 forum so trying here, just downloaded 2017 for Windows, but am unable to connect to internet through the program for searching.

Hi,

Can you try to run Heredis2017 with administrator rights ?
Close it if it is open, and right click on Heredis 2017 from the desktop > Run as administrator
Do you now have access to internet through Heredis ?( for example , open your File > Click Find > Search in the online archives > you should see the online archives browser ...)

My Dashboard icon from the tool bar will not load.
Any ideas ?

Hi,

Please reset the preferences :

Quit Heredis 2017 if it is open and relaunch it while pressing ALT, you should see a pop up message on the top right corner saying " Warning Applying Default preferences " as the home page appears. Only then, you should release Alt.

Open your file, do you now have access to the Dashboard ?
